Roseoflavin is an antibacterial pigment isolated from Streptomyces davawensis as an anti-metabolite of riboflavin. Roseoflavin is used as a substrate to mimic riboflavin in flavin biosynthesis, but leading to the formation of inactive flavin co-factors.
